





In 2004, Sergey Mikhlin was appointed Assistant District Attorney by the Honorable Denis Dillon, District Attorney of Nassau County. Sergey continued his service after the Honorable Kathleen Rice became the District Attorney of Nassau County.
As a prosecutor, Mr. Mikhlin had significant exposure to thousands of various criminal matters, ranging from traffic infractions to major felony offenses. He has handled numerous criminal cases, including DWIs, sex offenses, crimes involving guns and drugs, as well as robberies, burglaries, various types of fraud, thefts, and organized crime.
Prior to joining the District Attorney's Office, Mr. Mikhlin interned for the Economic Crimes Bureau of the Office of Massachusetts Attorney General, as well as the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office and the Honorable Judith Dein of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
In 2007, Mr. Mikhlin opened his solo criminal defense practice.
